i read the story then clicked the button at the bottom that said "report abuse."
my favorite part is at the core of the story. a simple detail of the naming of the protagonist with a girls name.
nice development of the setting as well. short of meth, i felt like i was in coos bay.

It's very clear that you've read a lot in your life, because you have a lot of classic wording & phrasing. Sometimes I felt like I was reading Tolkein.
