Being stuck at home makes the day a little slow and dull. But there can be bursts of beautiful and fun. My family found it today when we put chains on the van and then slipped onto Cornell and hiked up to Pittock Mansion. The could and snow obscured the vista, but it was a good afternoon.
I never could have predicted a Portland that looks like this:
